Security patching on a tested schedule, role and service configuration, and the same monitoring, alerting and backup verification applied to Linux hosts.

Postfix and Exim on Linux, Exchange on Windows, and the authentication layer around them — SPF, DKIM and DMARC alignment, plus deliverability and blacklist monitoring.

Web & application stack

nginx and Apache, PHP-FPM, database services, and TLS certificate issuance and renewal monitored so an expiry never takes a site offline.

Hardening & access control

SSH policy, host firewalling, intrusion prevention and audit logging applied as a baseline, not as remediation after an incident.
