Plain-English terms.
Last updated: 4 August 2026 (rev. 1)
These terms cover your use of the Edos Solutions website at edos.com.au, including the free security and diagnostic tools. By using the site or the tools you agree to them. They are written in plain English, like our privacy policy.
1. The short version
- The website and free tools are free to use and provided as-is, for general information. They are not tailored professional advice.
- Only run our scanning tools against domains you own or are authorised to assess.
- Tool results are a point-in-time, automated snapshot. They can be incomplete or wrong, and passing a check does not mean a system is secure.
- Paid services are governed by the proposal or agreement we sign with you, not by this page. Prices on the site are indicative and in Australian dollars.
- Nothing here limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
2. Who we are
Edos Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 39 113 606 410), an Australian company based in Sydney, NSW ("Edos", "we", "us", "our"). Contact:
- Email: info@edos.com.au
- Phone: +61 433 154 785
3. Using this website
You may browse the site, read and share links to our content, and use the free tools within the fair-use limits below. You must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, or any connected system;
- probe, scan, or test the site itself for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
- use automated means to scrape, bulk-download, or republish our content or tool results;
- interfere with the site's operation or other visitors' use of it; or
- use the site or tools for anything unlawful.
4. Free tools: authorisation and fair use
Our free tools (security scan, email authentication check, blacklist check, DNS and MX lookup, domain security, security headers, SEO and GEO/AEO scanners) run automated, read-only checks against the domain you enter: DNS queries and ordinary HTTP requests of the kind any browser or mail server makes.
- Authorisation. Only submit domains you own, manage, or are authorised to assess. You are responsible for having that authority.
- Fair use. The tools are for interactive, human use. Do not script bulk scans against them or resell their output. We rate-limit and may block abusive use.
- Results are informational. Checks are automated and point-in-time. They may produce false positives or miss issues, and a clean result is not a security assurance or a compliance certification.
- Follow-up. How we handle scanned-domain data, and when we may contact you about a scan, is covered in our privacy policy.
5. Not professional advice
Articles, benchmarks, tool results, and pricing guides on this site are general information, prepared without knowledge of your specific environment. They are not a substitute for a scoped engagement. Before acting on anything here in a production system, get advice specific to your situation, from us or from another qualified provider.
6. Services and pricing
Our paid services (email security, mail infrastructure, cybersecurity, managed services, websites, AI solutions, consulting, and IT support) are delivered under a separate proposal, quote, or services agreement. If anything on this website conflicts with a signed agreement, the agreement wins.
Prices shown on the site are indicative, in Australian dollars, and may change without notice. A quote we issue to you governs the price of that engagement.
7. Content and intellectual property
The content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, published benchmark data, and the tools themselves, belongs to Edos or its licensors. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link, and use our published aggregate research under the terms stated on the relevant page. You may not republish substantial portions, or use our name or logo to imply endorsement, without written permission.
8. Third-party links
The site links to third-party sites and services we do not control. Those links are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content, and a link is not an endorsement.
9. Liability and the Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that: the website and free tools are provided free of charge, as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Edos is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the website or the free tools, including decisions made on the basis of tool results. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited, at our option, to resupplying the relevant service or the cost of resupply.
10. Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current revision, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes to how the free tools work will be noted on the relevant tool page.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
